This was a tremendous season for the U10s who were premier division champions and plate winners. They proudly did the Walk of Fame, together with the U11s (division winners) and the U8s (only lost 2 matches in the whole season) at the summer barbecue held on 17th June 2012.
Richard Holberton, Chairman of the Club, praised all the players and their parents for recognising the value of the FA respect campaign and spoke of his pride to be part of a club that not only works to play the game well, but also with the right spirit and respect for the sport.
The Bradley Cup was awarded to Alastair Gourlay who has held the position of Treasurer for a number of years and works tirelessly behind the scenes.
The Uwins Cup was awarded to Ben Teague who has been a member of the club since he was 7 and now helps to train some of the younger players and referee matches, as well as playing regularly in the U17s.
The 2010/11 season was celebrated with a summer barbecue at Sutherland Park on 19th June. This was a great opportunity for the U14 Colts to show off the Cup that they had won, the U12 Eagles were congratulated for winning their Plate competition, the U10s were congratulated for great form all season that saw them finish top of their league, and the U9s were applauded for being runners up in both league and cup competitions, but also for their tournament win at the end of May.
Richard Holberton, Chairman, awarded the Uwins Cup for Commitment to Football to Conor Bakhuizen for his determination, dedication and hard work in the U12 squad - always encouraging and showing support to his team mates.
The Bradley Cup was awarded to Mike Teague for his Contribution to the Club, having been a team manager for 9 years and for his hard work for the club behind the scenes for a number of years, organising the match day schedules.
Well done to Conor and Mike - and thank you to every club member for making this a great season.
The Annual General Meeting held on 12th July 2010 saw Nick Uwins step down from his role as club chairman after 10 years as a club officer. Together with Martin Bradley and Peter Gissell, Nick founded the club in 2000. All of the attendees at the AGM paid tribute to Nick's dedication and commitment to the spirit of enjoyment and fair play. Nick remains a committee member and manager of the U18 team next season.

Nick was the deserving recipient of the Simon Hedley Award, presented by the Surrey Primary League, this year in recognition of his exceptional commitment to grassroots football at Burpham Juniors FC and throughout the county.
A huge hog roast and barbecue marked the club's 10th Anniversary at Sutherland Park on Saturday 22nd May 2010. The weather was good to us and we had a great afternoon of friendly football, cricket, volley ball for all ages.
Nick Uwins, Club Chairman, made the inaugrual presentaions of the Bradley Cup and the Uwins Cup. These are perpetual cups to be awarded each year by the Chairman and Secretary of the club. The Bradley Cup is for 'contribution to the club' and the Uwins Cup is for 'commitment to football'.
The first recipient of the Bradley Cup is for Andy Penson who was instrumental in setting up our association with Planet Soccer to coach 5-7 year olds who will become future members of the club. Andy has also held the position of Welfare Office for a number of years as well as managing a team since 2003.
The Uwins Cup was awarded to the Milbourn family who have 3 children that have played in Burpham Juniors teams over the years. They always give their best on the field and both parents are always willing to help out team managers whever they can.
This was a great season for the club with 160 members in seven age groups. The teams all played in the Surrey Primary League and did well in their respective age groups and divisions. Special mentions go to the U12 team who were Division 5 champions and the U16 team who were Division 1 runners up.
