CLUB HISTORY
The early years (00/00/00)

Burpham Juniors FC was established in 2000 with a handful of members and thanks to the hard work of our Chairman, Martin Bradley and our secretary, Nick Uwins, we have grown to a membership of more than 160.

The club achieved FA Charter Standard Status in 2006, and was awarded a grant by the Football Foundation in 2007 to help develop the club over the next 3 years....

2007/08 season (12/07/08)

We had four teams who were league winners during 2007/08: U9's, U13A, U13B and U17. The U14's were runners up in their league.

Martin Bradley steps down as Chairman after 9 years (07/07/09)

Martin Bradley chaired his last Annual General Meeting of Burpham Juniors FC on 6th July 2009. Together with Nick Uwins and Peter Grissell, Martin founded the club in 2000 and has been Chairman ever since, working tirelessly to develop the club for the benefit of the players. Nick Uwins, who has now taken over the chairmanship of the club, presented Martin with a watch as a gift from club members and spoke of Martin's energy and drive over the years that has seen the club reach FA Charter Standard and a number of successes both on and off the pitch. Thanks for all your hard work for us Martin.

2008/09 season (05/09/09)

This was a great season for the club with 160 members in seven age groups. The teams all played in the Surrey Primary League and did well in their respective age groups and divisions. Special mentions go to the U12 team who were Division 5 champions and the U16 team who were Division 1 runners up.
